Graduation

After 18 months of physical therapy, I “graduated” last night. My therapist, Stephanie, is moving to Idaho and since I had met all my goals for improvement in terms of range of motion, I decided that I did not want to continue on with another therapist. I don’t do change well and even though I like several of the other therapists there I felt that it would be hard for me to change after going to one person for so long.

I will miss Stephanie and I do have the option of returning with another therapist if things go downhill, but we have a home therapy program and Stephanie helped us pick out an exercise bike that we can buy for home use so I’m hopeful that I can maintain my current range of motion without formal PT.
