Ruthie was turned into Rescue because her owner was moving to Siberia to become a missionary.

Ruthie was 11 years old when she was turned in.

5/14/06:Ruthie has crossed to the Rainbow Bridge today. She was 16 years 8 months old. We had to take her to the emergency vet very early this morning. He thinks that she likely had a cancerous lesion on the left side of her brain. The options were not viable at her age so it was time to let her go. She will be missed.
